Pipe Line Crawler Systems

JME pipeline crawlers are designed to produce high quality panoramic radiographs of circumferential butt welds in new pipelines from 3 to 72 in (7.62 cm to 1.83 m). These units are designed and proven, both onshore and offshore, to work as a fully self contained and self powered exposure vehicle. There are no trailing leads and all commands are executed from outside the pipeline via remote control.

6/16 X-Ray Crawler

Non Isotopes Control System

The Non Isotope Control System is a unique magnetic control system designed to replace the conventional isotope control system. There are no trailing leads and all commands are executed from outside the pipeline via magnetic transmitter (Magnetope). The units can be commanded to travel, stop and radiograph as required by the user.

OpenVisionTM OVCF-NDT

OpenVisionTM is a light weight live video X-ray imaging system specifically designed for hand-held inspection. It includes a highly sensitive radiographic imager and battery-operated 70kV x-ray tube designed for portable field operation. The proprietary intensified video imaging system captures images and displays them on a hand held LCD viewer, head mounted display, or portable recorder with LCD display in real-time.

This portable system is commonly used for Corrosion Under Insulation inspection. Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) inspection is a term used to address the inspection of areas that exist between the insulation material and the exterior wall of the pipe. Stripping down the insulation and searching for problem spots is a costly and time consuming process. The OpenVisionTM OVCF-NDT X-ray system allows you to inspect lengths of pipe work, bends and joints in a matter of minutes, pinpointing any defects without removing the insulation.

BALTOGRAPH SERIES – XSD GENERATORS

The BALTOGRAPH system is comprised of an x-ray generator, an LS1 control unit, and a TSD or TSC tubehead. The XSD x-ray generators are 19" racks, built around a sealed, oil and gas free, solid stage voltage multiplier. Surface Mount Device (SMD)electronics are used to minimize connections and reduce servicing time, size and weight.

The XSD x-ray generator is a high frequency constant potential stationary digital x-ray generator. Monopolar and Bipolar generators are available with maximum capacities of 160 to 450kV. The monopolar generator can achieve a maximum capacity of 225kV, while maintaining the flexibility to be a fixed or mobile installation. The bipolar generator can reach 450kV by combining two of the monopolar racks.

BETATRON 2.5 MEV

The PXB2.5D portable X-Ray Betatron is designed to produce high energy ionising radiation for industrial radiographic non-destructive testing. HLV for Steel is 20mm The PXB2.5D portable X-Ray Betatron contains no moving parts (excluding cooling fan) and no circulating liquids, radiation outside the main beam are low, so safe working distances are moderate. After demarcation of dose rate boundaries, the betatron may be used at external sites or in fabrication workshops with little or no additional screening.

The PXB2.5D produces radiographs of very high contrast, sensitivity and resolution. The PXB2.5D is recommended for radiographic testing of weld joints and castings with a steel thickness of 30 to 120mm, concrete and other materials from 100 to 300mm. The irradiation field equals 350mm x 350mm @ 1M focal distance. In operation the PXB2.5D has no need for compensating filters that improves the uniformity of the radiation field. The PXB2.5D is far less costly than other NDT accelerators such as ‘Linacs’

BETATRON 6 MEV

The PXB6M portable X-Ray Betatron is designed to produce high energy ionising radiation for industrial radiographic non-destructive testing. The PXB6M contains no moving parts (excluding cooling fan) and no circulating liquids, radiation outside the main beam are low, so safe working distances are moderate. After demarcation of dose rate boundaries, the betatron may be used at external sites or in fabrication workshops with little or no additional screening. The PXB6M produces radiographs of very high contrast, sensitivity and resolution.

The PXB6M is recommended for radiographic testing of weld joints and castings with a steel thickness of 50 to 200mm, concrete and other materials from 200 to 900mm. HLV Steel 28mm The irradiation field equals 240mm x 250mm @ 1M focal distance. In operation the PXB6M has no need for compensating filters that improves the uniformity of the radiation field.The PXB6M is far less costly than other NDT accelerators such as ‘Linacs’The PXB6M replaces cobalt isotope gamma sources which may not give acceptable quality and require costly periodic replenishment.

BETATRON 7.5 MEV

The PXB7.5M portable X-Ray Betatron is designed to produce high energy ionising radiation for industrial radiographic non-destructive testing. The PXB7.5M contains no moving parts (excluding cooling fan) and no circulating liquids, radiation outside the main beam are low, so safe working distances are moderate. After demarcation of dose rate boundaries, the betatron may be used at external sites or in fabrication workshops with little or no additional screening.

The PXB7.5M produces radiographs of very high contrast, sensitivity and resolution. HLV STEEL: 32mm The PXB7.5M is recommended for radiographic testing of weld joints and castings with a steel thickness of 50 to 360mm, concrete and other materials from 200 to 1200mm. The irradiation field equals 250mm x 250mm @ 1M focal distance. In operation the PXB7.5M has no need for compensating filters that improves the uniformity of the radiation field. The PXB7.5M is far less costly than other NDT accelerators such as ‘Linacs’. The PXB7.5M replaces cobalt isotope gamma sources which may not give acceptable quality and require costly periodic replenishment.

BETATRON 9 MEV

The JME Portable Betatron is a compact circular electron accelerator producing a high energy directional X-Ray beam. Containing no moving parts except small airflow fans, and no circulating liquids, the Betatron is easy to assemble, operate and maintain.Interlock able to safety systems or supplied with a stand alone audio visual warning system. The Betatron produces radiographs of very high contrast, sensitivity and resolution, meeting the tightest inspection standards.It replaces cobalt isotope gamma sources, which may not give acceptable quality and require costly periodic replenishment
